The prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office completed the pre-trial investigation and sent the indictment to the court against the former head of the regional organization of the banned in Ukraine party “OPZZH” on the charge of treason (Part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that since 2015, the woman managed a number of local pro-Russian organizations, in particular the banned party “OPZH” and the public organization “Ukrainian Choice – People’s Rights”.
Acting on the instructions of the special services of the aggressor country, she organized and personally participated in paid mass events that actively spread false information to destabilize socio-political sentiments in the Lviv region and change the current government in the country.
The accused also organized scientific and practical conferences, seminars and street actions with the demands of granting a special economic and cultural status to Galicia and its separation into a separate autonomy.
In addition, since 2018, the accused systematically participated in programs on Russian and pro-Russian media resources, acting as a “political expert” and a specialist in the field of socio-political processes in Ukraine.
In her interviews, the woman told propagandistic, biased and exclusively negative information about Ukraine, in particular, about Russophobia, fascism, Nazism and radical nationalism, as well as NATO bases located on the territory of the country.
Currently, the woman has been remanded in custody without bail.
