In the Chernivtsi region, a former military official has been exposed, suspected of falsifying data related to mobilization.
A criminal activity has been uncovered under the program “The Flip Side of TCC and VLC.” The official fabricated data in the “Oberig” state register, allowing 76 individuals to evade conscription to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
“Under the procedural guidance of the Chernivtsi Specialized Prosecutor’s Office, the former head of one of the departments of the RTC and SP has been detained,” the investigative bodies report.
The falsification concerned the alleged mobilization of citizens, their deregistration, and the appointment to military units. In reality, these individuals did not serve, and the actions resulted in artificially inflated mobilization plan figures.
