
The Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office has submitted an indictment to the court against a former deputy director of a municipal enterprise in Mostyska. Source The investigation established that the official failed to ensure the proper operation of a landfill for solid waste, allowing multiple waste dumps on adjacent plots. This led to land pollution with excessive levels of phosphorus, iron, lead, and other elements, causing environmental damage amounting to over 150,000 UAH. He is accused of land pollution with hazardous substances and official negligence (Articles 239 and 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The investigation was conducted by the investigators of the National Police of Lviv region with the support of the Strategic Investigations Department.
According to the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
