Komarno City Council, together with the Pustomyty District Prosecutor’s Office, is seeking through the courts to recover rent arrears for the land on which the former bread factory site in the town of Komarno is located.
Acting within its mandate to represent the interests of the state, the Prosecutor’s Office has filed a claim with the Commercial Court of Lviv Region in the interests of Komarno City Council. The claim concerns the recovery from the land user of almost UAH 200,000 in rent arrears for the use of the specified land plot.
The City Council stresses that it will continue to use all instruments provided for by law to protect the community’s property interests and to ensure the proper use of municipal property and land resources.
Land users in the Komarno community are also being urged to check that their charges have been calculated correctly and that rent payments for land are made on time, in order to avoid similar debts and court disputes.
