It is about a case involving a 37-year-old doctor who demanded $8,000 in unlawful monetary compensation from a member of the ATO in order to extend his disability group.
Prosecutors do not specify the name of the doctor or her place of work. The SBU emphasized that the perpetrator demanded a bribe even from those participants of the anti-terrorist operation who had all the legal grounds to receive the disability group.
On this fact, criminal proceedings were opened under Part 3 of Article 369-2 (abuse of influence) of the Criminal Code.
The Sykhiv District Court of Lviv found the doctor guilty and sentenced her to 4 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
