The prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office completed the pre-trial investigation and sent an indictment to the court against a resident of Lviv for organizing the illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine (part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that the accused, during the period of martial law, promised a man of military age to transport him across the border for 10,000 US dollars.
The crossing scheme was to cross the state border through the forest, outside the checkpoints.
The price of the service is $10,000.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the investigators of the State Department of the State of Ukraine in Lviv, based on the materials of the Department of Military Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
