Police have held a Lviv woman accountable for selling blue and yellow ribbons near the Main Railway Station.
The publication about a woman selling patriotic symbols at Dvirtseva Square in Lviv was discovered by law enforcement on August 17 while monitoring social networks.
That same day, a district police officer from the police department No.1 of Lviv Police Administration No.2 identified the individual and filed an administrative protocol against the offender, a 35-year-old Lviv woman, for Part 1 of Article 160 ‘Trading from Hands in Unauthorized Places’ of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
The woman faces a penalty – a fine ranging from one to seven non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens with or without confiscation of trading items.
