A 27-year-old resident of Lviv was sentenced to 9 years in prison for **trafficking psychotropic substances** and possessing them in large quantities.
Prosecutors from the Frankivsk District Prosecutor’s Office in Lviv proved his guilt in court. The court issued a verdict – nine years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. In May, the man executed a scheme for distributing PVP, amphetamine, and mephedrone. He ordered wholesale batches of drugs, packaged them, and sent them through the mail.
The sales were organized through Telegram, and he received the money on bank cards. During a home search, approximately 1.5 kg of psychotropics in tablets and powder and 600 g of cannabis were found. He is charged with the acquisition, storage, and sale of drugs (part 2, 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Pending the verdict’s legal force, he is in custody.
