Prosecutors from the Halytskyi District Prosecutor’s Office in the city of Lviv secured a conviction in court against a 24-year-old Lviv resident. He was found guilty of possession and distribution of psychotropic substances and particularly dangerous psychotropic agents.
The young man was sentenced to nine years of imprisonment. At the same time, the court ordered him to pay a fine of 100,000 hryvnias.
According to the prosecution, the man stored illegal substances in his apartment in Lviv and distributed them through drop-off points in various areas of the city. During searches of his premises, significant quantities of drugs were seized, which were recognized as dangerous to life and health by experts.
“This sentence serves as a fair warning to those involved in illegal trafficking,” emphasized a representative of the prosecutor’s office.
