Lviv Resident Sentenced for Selling Psychotropic Substances in Stryi

Prosecutors from the Stryi District Prosecutor’s Office proved in court the guilt of a 27-year-old resident of Lviv who was selling psychotropic substances.

“The Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office sentenced him to 9 years and 3 months of imprisonment with confiscation of all his property,” – the source reports.

It was proven that in March of this year, the man implemented a scheme to sell PVP, amphetamine, and ecstasy. He ordered wholesale batches of prohibited substances, repackaged them into smaller amounts, and sold them to drug-dependent individuals through Telegram. After receiving money on a bank card, the man would travel from Lviv to Stryi, where he placed ‘stashes’.

He placed the packages not only in secluded places but also in shopping centers and apartment building entrances.

One documented case involved placing a ‘stash’ with a particularly dangerous psychotropic substance on the gates of a kindergarten. Almost 100 stashes with prohibited substances were discovered in the city. During searches, ready-to-sell amphetamine and PVP were seized. The man is charged with illegal acquisition, transportation, storage, and sale of psychotropic substances (Part 2, 3, Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
