Under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a citizen was notified of suspicion based on the facts of encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine and justification of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, glorification of its participants (Part 1 of Article 110, Part 2, Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ).
According to the investigation, a resident of Lviv distributed posts in which he publicly justified the crimes and armed aggression of the Russian Federation through an account on the banned social network Odnoklasnyki. The man also made public calls to change the borders of the territory and the state border of Ukraine.
The materials distributed by the suspect also denied the temporary occupation of part of the territory of Ukraine. In particular, there were several statements in the Russian language that “Crimea is Russia”.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by investigators of the SBU Department in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
