On February 27, 2026, at 21:53, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in Lviv on Sadivnycha Street. According to LVIVDSNS, the fire broke out on the first floor of a three-story residential building in an apartment. Household items were burning.
During the reconnaissance by the gas and smoke protection service, a woman was brought out to fresh air from the smoke-filled premises. After being examined by medics, she refused hospitalization. The fire was localized at 22:13 and extinguished at 22:17.
Two units of firefighting and rescue equipment and seven rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire. Rescuers urge citizens to follow fire safety rules and not to leave electrical appliances and open flame sources unattended.
During the heating period, pay special attention to the condition of stove heating, do not overload chimneys, and do not dry items over an open flame. Remember: neglecting these rules can lead to tragic consequences.
