
A 34-year-old resident of Lviv is accused of stealing seven bicycles from stairwells and corridors on Stryiska, Ternopilska, Sumskaya streets, and others. The investigation, during which law enforcement officers documented 6 episodes of the suspect’s activity, has been completed, and the indictment has already been submitted to the court. The maximum penalty could be imprisonment for up to eight years. This was reported by MVS.LVIV.
Between August and November 2025, the criminal stole bicycles valued from 4,000 to over 10,000 hryvnias. He had previous convictions for similar offences but came under suspicion again following the joint work of criminal police operatives and staff from other local management services.
Under Article 185, part 4 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, he could be sentenced to a lengthy term of imprisonment, should the court find the defendant guilty. The case is awaiting a hearing commencement in the Lviv court.
