The Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office has achieved compensation of almost 2 million UAH in unpaid shared participation from two local companies. The court obliged the developers, who commissioned a multi-apartment building in the Frankivskyi district of Lviv, to compensate the funds that were supposed to be directed towards the development of the city’s engineering, transport, and social infrastructure. Prosecutors discovered that the developers avoided paying the shared participation, which became the basis for the lawsuit filed by the Frankivsk District Prosecutor’s Office. The lawsuit was partially satisfied, and work in this direction continues. Measures are ongoing to identify similar violations by other developers to ensure budget revenues.
