
Information is spreading online about an allegedly found gun used to kill Andriy Parubiy.
The Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office officially states: the weapon used to commit the murder of the Member of Parliament of Ukraine has not been found yet, and the search is ongoing.
Recall that on August 30, a 52-year-old resident of Lviv fired eight shots at the politician, resulting in the victim dying at the scene.
The suspect has been remanded in custody for 60 days without the right to bail.
He has been notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons) and Article 112 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (attempt on the life of a Member of Parliament of Ukraine, committed in connection with his state or public activity).
