Robbery Suspect Detained at Store on Shyroka Street
Yesterday afternoon, patrol officers received a call about a robbery at a store on Shyroka Street. The perpetrator openly seized a laundry detergent, and despite all attempts to detain him, the man managed to flee. Local sellers reported that he had previously stolen goods from their stores.
Search and Detention
After reviewing surveillance footage, police began their search. On Subotivska Street, patrol officers noticed an individual matching the description. The man was stopped and identified as a 30-year-old local citizen.
He had already sold the laundry detergent at another store. An investigative team was called to the scene. Physical evidence was seized. The man was detained under Article 208 (Detention by an Authorized Official) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He faces charges under Part 4 of Article 186 (Robbery under Martial Law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
