Lviv patrol officers identified a suspected drug distributor.
Recently, on Pasichna Street, patrol officers apprehended a man with a package wrapped in insulating tape. It contained 40 bags, each separately wrapped, with suspicious substances. “The young man admitted he was supposed to distribute them at designated locations,” police reported. An investigative team was called to the scene and seized the substances for examination.
Information regarding this incident has been entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under part 3 of article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which relates to illegal drug distribution. The detainee has been remanded in custody under article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The penalty under this article includes imprisonment for a term of six to ten years with confiscation of property.
