From January to November 2023, there were 637 car accidents with victims on the roads of the Lviv Oblast, the cause of which was speed. 870 people were injured in them and 65 people, unfortunately, died.
This was reported to the Police of the Lviv region.
Every day, patrol officers control the speed regime using the TruCam device. In 11 months of 2023, the police issued 57,759 administrative materials against offenders.
Appropriate road signs warn of the places where the police are conducting control. Fixing is carried out in accident-prone areas and places where the greatest number of traffic accidents with serious consequences occur.
