The Lviv Court of Appeal left the verdict of the court of first instance unchanged due to the public indictment of the prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office. The last decision found the 27-year-old man guilty of illegal acquisition and possession for the purpose of sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances (Part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
He was sentenced to 9 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Prosecutors proved in court that in September 2022, while in one of Lviv’s parks, the man purchased and kept particularly large quantities of psychotropic substances for further sale.
The convict was previously convicted of a crime in the field of illegal drug trafficking. However, he did not get on the path of correction.
