Border guards, together with customs officials, stopped the attempt to export a collection of coins and banknotes to Poland.
-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhia followed the train to the neighboring country. During the inspection, inspectors found about a thousand coins of various denominations, a “one chervonets” banknote, a “ten ruble” credit note, and five wristwatches. The woman hid all the things among her personal belongings.
During the conversation, the citizen explained that the items she was transporting belonged to the family collection.
Things that may be of cultural and historical value have been removed. The examination is ongoing.
