A tragic road accident occurred in the Lviv region in which a motorcyclist died.
Law enforcement officers urge motorcyclists to be careful on the roads, adhere to traffic rules, including speed limits and overtaking regulations. \”Do not exceed speed limits, maneuver carefully, and always wear helmets,\” they emphasize.
The accident happened on August 31 around 5:00 PM on the ‘Kovel-Sheptytskyi-Zhovkva’ highway near the village of Savchyn in the Sheptytskyi district. A 37-year-old resident of the Volyn region lost control of his Honda motorcycle, veered onto the roadside, and collided with a metal guardrail. As a result, the man sustained fatal injuries.
Investigators from the transport crimes investigation department of the Lviv region police have opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. An investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the accident.
