A tragic road traffic accident occurred in the Lviv region, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist.
Law enforcement officers urge motorcyclists to be cautious on the roads and to adhere to traffic rules, especially speed limits and overtaking regulations. It is important not to exceed speed limits, to maneuver carefully, and to always use helmets. “Life is precious!” they emphasize.
The accident occurred on August 17 around 05:30 in the town of Brody. As preliminary investigations by law enforcement have established, a 34-year-old resident of the Zolochiv district lost control of a Suzuki motorcycle, drove onto the roadside, and collided with a tree. As a result of the accident, the man sustained injuries and died at the scene.
Following the incident, investigators from the police department No. 1 of the Zolochiv district police department have initiated criminal proceedings under part 2 of Article 286 (‘Violation of road safety regulations or vehicle operation by persons driving vehicles’) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. An investigation is underway, with law enforcement officers establishing the circumstances of the accident.
