On July 27, customs officers stopped an attempt to import narcotic substances into Ukraine.
At the checkpoint “Nyzhankovychi — Malkhovytsia,” a vehicle VOLKSWAGEN CARAVELLE was stopped, driven by a 48-year-old resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region. The driver chose the “green corridor,” designated for goods not subject to declaration. However, during inspection, 504 tablets of Dolstip and Targin, which are narcotic substances with restricted circulation, were discovered.
An administrative protocol was drawn up under part 3 of article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine regarding this fact. A report containing signs of a crime was sent to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
