The traffic accident occurred on October 28 on the Zhovkva-Chervonograd highway in the Lviv district.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, a 52-year-old MAN truck driver collided with a Suzuki motorcycle, as a result of which a 23-year-old motorcyclist was injured.
Both participants in the accident are residents of the district. The driver of the two-wheeled vehicle was hospitalized.
According to the fact, the investigators of the police department No. 2 of the Lviv district police department No. 1 opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of three to eight years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years or without it.
