A criminal scheme to evade mobilization has been uncovered in the Chernivtsi region.

The investigation revealed that a lieutenant colonel and a senior sergeant conspired with representatives of the military medical commission (MMC). They established a scheme for receiving improper benefits for ‘resolving issues’ for individuals subject to military duty.
Initially, the accused demanded **6,000 USD** from a woman for the issuance of a military ticket for her husband without his personal presence. Later, they decided to declare the husband partially fit and employ him as a driver in the TCC and SP to avoid deployment to the frontline.
Law enforcement documented the criminal mechanism, detained the commander while receiving a portion of the funds, and prevented the illegal appointment.
