
A military officer has been detained in Bukovina for attempting to smuggle men to Moldova for a bribe.
According to the investigation, a 48-year-old military officer from one of the units offered a bribe to a border guard to smuggle two individuals to Moldova during the war. **He promised 1,500 US dollars for each client**.
The military officer wanted access to official information on border security and patrols. He hoped that in the event of offenders being discovered, no reactionary measures would be taken.
He was detained during the transfer of 500 US dollars and an advance of 41,500 hryvnias. He has been notified of suspicion and a preventive measure has been selected. Administrative protocols have been drawn up against both escapees.
