The traffic accident happened on November 6 around 8:30 a.m. in the village of Stanil, Drohobytsky district.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the “ZAZ” car, a 25-year-old resident of the city of Truskavets, hit a pedestrian, a 34-year-old local resident. As a result of the collision, the pedestrian was injured and taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, the investigators of police department No. 2 of the Drohobytsk district police department opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is restriction of liberty for a term of up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years.
