On Mount Lopata near the town of Skole in Stryi district, a tourist born in 2006 was injured. The incident occurred on 3 October at 18:21.
After receiving the report, mountain rescuers arrived at the scene, provided the girl with first aid prior to hospital treatment, and then, using a stretcher and a quad bike, transported the casualty to the foot of the mountain and handed her over to medics.
Rescuers urge tourists to check the weather forecast in advance, choose a route in line with their physical capabilities, wear comfortable footwear and clothing suitable for mountainous terrain, inform relatives or friends about their route, and not set off on a hike without the necessary equipment.
They also stress that you should not overestimate your own abilities, as the mountains demand responsibility and caution.
