Under the procedural guidance of the Stryi district prosecutor’s office, the pre-trial investigation was completed and an indictment was sent to the court against a 27-year-old man on the facts of illegal acquisition, storage and sale of a particularly dangerous narcotic drug (part 1 of article 307, part 2 of article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that the accused sold cannabis to local residents on the territory of the Slavska Territorial Community. “Clients” agreed on the purchase through correspondence in the Messenger application. After that, the buyers transferred money to the bank card of the figure, and received the product itself at a personal meeting.
During the search of the man’s place of residence, drugs prepared for sale, packaged in zip bags, electronic scales and packaging devices were discovered and seized.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the investigators of the Stryi district police department of the Main Department of the National Police in the Lviv region, under the operational support of the SCP of the specified police department.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
