On August 10, at 3:08 p.m., information spread about the missile threat in Lviv and the region with a call to go to the nearest shelters. It was made public in the following chats: “Missile Danger”, “Missile Danger Lviv”, “Typical Lviv”, “Zahid WTF”.
At the same time, the residents of the region began to write in the comments that, they say, they could not hear sirens.
In this regard, we would like to inform you that information has recently been appearing in various telegram channels, which aims to create panic and sow distrust in the activities of the Armed Forces, state authorities and local self-government.
We draw your attention to the fact that the services authorized to activate civil defense signals (“Air Alarm”, “Air Alarm Repulse”) did not send messages about “Missile Danger” during this period of time. Therefore, the air alert was not announced in the Lviv region.
During the war, we once again appeal to the residents of Lviv Oblast to carefully check the sources of information and refrain from any provocative messages concerning security in the region.
Official information about the air alert in the region is made public in the Telegram channel of the LOVA Civil Protection Department “CZ Alert”, the mobile application “Air Alert” from Ajax system and thanks to the network of regional air television and radio broadcasting.
