The indictment against a 28-year-old resident of Turka, suspected of corrupting a minor, producing child pornography and distributing intimate videos, has been sent to court. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation, in 2023 the man filmed lewd acts involving a girl who was 15 at the time, and also recorded on video sexual intercourse with a minor. Last year he recorded a pornographic video featuring a 36-year-old woman.
The suspect stored the material obtained on his phone and hard drive for his own “collection” and for further distribution. In addition, he administered a public Telegram channel with more than a thousand members, which he used both as a blogging platform and simultaneously for distributing prohibited photo and video materials.
Investigators believe that, seeking to take revenge on a woman with whom he had previously had a romantic relationship, the man sent other users via Telegram a video of their sexual intercourse. After this, the woman contacted law enforcement.
During searches, electronic data carriers containing a significant volume of pornographic media files were seized from the suspect. He is charged with committing acts of a sexual nature with a person under the age of sixteen, corrupting minors, producing and distributing pornographic images, as well as producing child pornography (Part 1 of Article 155, Part 1 of Article 156, Parts 1 and 3 of Article 301, Part 3 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
At the request of the prosecution, the man is being held in custody without the right to bail. The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region, with operational support provided by the Migration Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region.
Pursuant to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime until their guilt is proven in accordance with the law and established by a guilty verdict of a court.
