Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Frankiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Lviv, the director of the company was informed of suspicion of illegal possession of property and official forgery (Part 5 of Article 191, Part 2 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, a contract for the construction of children’s and sports grounds was concluded between the company headed by the suspect and one of the village councils of the Lviv region.
Under the terms of the contract, the company, in particular, had to install expensive, high-quality simulators of a well-known Ukrainian brand.
However, in order to seize budget funds, the person involved installed many times cheaper simulators, of much worse quality, of another brand.
And in the official documents, he indicated that during the construction, exactly those simulators were installed that were stipulated in the contract. But submitted them for payment to the customer.
Thus, the latter took over UAH 1 million.
The suspect was remanded in custody.
Investigations are ongoing.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the investigators of the VP No. 1 of the LRUP No. 2 of the GU of the NP in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
