A cadet was detained in the Lviv region for attempting to bribe a teacher.
The cadet from a military unit offered a bribe of 2500 USD to a battalion training instructor. He wanted to prevent reporting an unauthorized absence of another cadet from the unit.
To confirm the seriousness of his intentions, he initially handed over 500 USD, followed by the rest of the sum. He was detained immediately after this.
Under the leadership of the Lviv Specialized Defense Prosecutor’s Office, he has been charged with offering an undue advantage (Part 3 of Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
