Extreme fire danger declared in Lviv region

Across the territory of the Lviv region, a high and extreme fire danger is expected until the end of 18 June and throughout 19–21 June. This was reported by the Lviv Regional Centre for Hydrometeorology of Ukraine.

According to meteorologists, during this period an extreme (5th class) and high (4th class) fire danger is forecast, so residents are urged to be especially careful with fire.

Rescuers remind the public that even a single spark can cause a large-scale fire, so people should refrain from burning dry vegetation and strictly follow fire safety rules in open areas.
