In Lviv region, due to wind and thunderstorms, trees fell and blocked traffic in several localities. This was reported by the State Emergency Service in Lviv region.
In the village of Tseperiv in Lviv district, a tree fell onto the carriageway. Staff from the local fire brigade in the village of Novyi Yarychiv cut it up and removed it from the road to restore traffic.
In Lviv, on Kostia Levytskoho Street, a tree also fell onto the carriageway and partially blocked traffic. Rescuers carried out work to cut it up and clear it away.
In the settlement of Briukhovychi, two trees fell as a result of the bad weather, completely blocking traffic. Units of the State Emergency Service cut up the trunks and cleared the road.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service in Lviv region urge citizens to exercise caution during bad weather: do not stay under trees or near power lines, do not leave cars under old or damaged trees, and in the event of a dangerous situation call 101.
