Accident in Lviv Region: Collision of a Motorcycle and a Car
In the morning at 8:39, a report came via the emergency number \”101\” about a road traffic accident on the highway Lviv — Pustomyty: as a result of the collision of a \”Honda\” motorcycle with a \”Citroen Jumpy\” car, the motorcycle caught fire.
Actions of Rescuers at the Scene
Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire, disconnected the battery of the \”Citroen Jumpy\” car, and cleaned the road surface of fuel and lubricants.
- Four rescuers and one unit of special equipment were working at the scene.
- Unfortunately, the motorcyclist died, and the driver of the car was hospitalized.
- The causes of the accident are being investigated by law enforcement agencies.
