
A 25-year-old resident of Novoyavorivsk in the Lviv region will stand trial for drug trafficking and dealing psychotropics.
It has been established that the young man organized the supply of large batches of the narcotic cannabis, as well as psychotropic substances MDMA, 4-MMC, ketamine, methamphetamine, and amphetamine. He packaged them and sold them in small batches, shipping to various regions of Ukraine and making “drops” in the Lviv region.
The offender was exposed by operatives of the Lviv Region Police’s Drug Crime Enforcement Department together with investigators from the Yavoriv District Police Department, under the procedural guidance of the Yavoriv District Prosecutor’s Office. Law enforcement documented the suspect’s illegal activities and on June 17, detained him under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine in Novoyavorivsk.
During sanctioned searches, police discovered and seized significant quantities of narcotics and psychotropic substances from the offender, including packages, rolls, and ready “drops” of cannabis, amphetamine, 4-MMC, MDMA, as well as packaging materials, electronic scales, communication devices, and other evidence of his involvement in illegal activities. In addition, law enforcement seized a package ready for shipment with narcotics and psychotropics, and discovered 8 “drops” with psychotropics he had previously prepared.
The pretrial investigation in the criminal case, initiated under Part 2, Part 3 of Article 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, has been completed. The indictment has been sent to court for consideration. The maximum penalty the accused faces is up to twelve years in prison with confiscation of property.
