Fatal road traffic collision occurred on 1 July at around 14:30 on the road within the village of Zatemne in Lviv district.
According to preliminary police information, a 76-year-old resident of Zolochiv district lost control of a Renault Kangoo. The vehicle left the carriageway into a roadside ditch and overturned.
The driver died at the scene from his injuries.
Investigators from Police Station No.2 of Lviv District Police Department No.2 have opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on the grounds of a breach of road traffic safety regulations. Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the crash.
