The traffic accident occurred on June 8, around 4:50 p.m., on the Lviv-Sambir-Uzhhorod highway between the villages of Khlopchytsy and Novosilky of the Sambir district.
As previously established by law enforcement officers, the driver of the Nissan Primastar, a 62-year-old resident of one of the villages of the Sambir region, lost control and drove into a ditch.
The driver of the minibus died at the scene of the injuries sustained as a result of the accident.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Department of Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Transport of the Lviv Oblast Police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 (Violation of Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
