The traffic accident occurred on April 11, around 8:45 p.m., on the Lviv-Krakowets highway in the village of Ivano-Frankove, Yavorivsky District
As previously determined by law enforcement officers, there was a collision between a VAZ 2108 car driven by a 43-year-old resident of one of the villages of the district and a Mustang Grader 250 motorcycle driven by a 16-year-old resident of another village of the Yavoriv district.
As a result of the accident, the minor motorcyclist was injured and was hospitalized in intensive care.
According to the fact, the investigators of the Yavoriv district police department opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty stipulated by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
