Two minibus passengers, including a minor, injured in Lviv region as a result of a collision with a minibus – police establishing circumstances
The road accident occurred on 27 June, around 13.30, on the Lviv-Ternopil-Rava-Ruska motorway between the villages of Pluhiv and Zarvanytsia in Zolochiv district.
As law enforcement officers have preliminarily established, a minibus Citroen Dispatch driven by a 37-year-old resident of Zolochiv collided with a bus Etalon driven by a 51-year-old resident of Zolochiv.
As a result of the accident, two female passengers of the minibus, residents of Zolochiv aged 14 and 59, were injured and hospitalised.
Investigators of the Zolochiv District Police Department opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the article is restraint of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
