Police in the Lviv region have uncovered a foreigner who violated migration laws. This was reported by MVS.LVIV. It was established that a 56-year-old citizen of the Republic of Moldova was living in Ukraine without the necessary permits, had been criminally charged for theft, and administratively charged for violating Ukraine’s migration laws and committing domestic violence.
The offender was discovered by officers of the Migration Police Department in the Lviv region during operations aimed at identifying foreigners and stateless persons illegally residing in Ukraine. The police detained the foreigner and took him to the Western Interregional Department of the State Migration Service of Ukraine to clarify all circumstances.
He is currently placed in a temporary accommodation center for foreigners and stateless persons. Law enforcement is taking measures to ensure the forced expulsion of the detainee beyond the borders of Ukraine, as well as establishing a ban on his further entry into our country. The police urge foreign citizens to strictly adhere to Ukraine’s migration laws. Violations in this area carry responsibility according to current legislation.
