Recommendations for Parents
Law enforcement urges parents to remind children about road safety rules.
- Cross the street only at pedestrian crossings, and ride a bicycle only on bike lanes.
- Ensure that your child’s clothing and bicycles have reflective elements – this makes them visible during dark hours.
Advice for Drivers
Police remind drivers:
- Be especially careful when approaching schools, pedestrian crossings, and intersections, and adhere to child transportation rules.
- Use protective measures when transporting young passengers: child seats, booster cushions, standard seat belts, and position children in the back seats.
- Do not exceed speed limits. Remember that in populated areas of Ukraine, your vehicle speedometer should not exceed 50 kilometers per hour.
