In Lviv region over the past day, rescuers extinguished 48 fires, of which 35 outbreaks occurred in ecosystems.
While tackling the blaze, firefighters prevented the destruction of 14 buildings and 1 car.
According to available information, the most common cause of fires remains human carelessness, in particular the burning of dry vegetation.
Rescuers are urging residents of the region not to burn dry grass and to strictly observe fire safety rules, as people's safety largely depends on their own responsibility.
