In Lviv region, 10 fires extinguished and 6 buildings saved in 24 hours

In the territory of Lviv region, during the 24-hour duty shift from 7 to 8 June, rescuers extinguished 10 fires of various types. During these call-outs, they managed to save 6 buildings and one car from being destroyed by fire.

The Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region reported that since the beginning of the year, fire and rescue units have already extinguished 3,513 fires. As a result of these blazes, 38 people have died and another 73 have been injured, including 7 children.

Rescuers note that 112 people, including 11 children, have been saved in fires.

The Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region reminds the public of the need to comply with fire safety rules and urges everyone to protect their lives, health and homes from fire, as it is easier to prevent a fire than to extinguish one.
