In Lviv region, over the past 24 hours, firefighters have extinguished 12 fires, three of which broke out in natural ecosystems. Thanks to the firefighters’ actions, the flames did not destroy three buildings and one vehicle.
According to available information, the most common cause of fires remains human carelessness. Rescuers remind the public that burning dry grass is prohibited and stress the need to follow fire safety rules.
The rescue service emphasises that they work around the clock, but that residents’ personal safety largely depends on their responsible behaviour.
