In Lviv region six fires extinguished and three buildings saved in 24 hours

In the Lviv region, over the past 24 hours firefighters have extinguished six fires and, thanks to swift and well-coordinated action, were able to save three buildings from destruction. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv region.

The rescue service notes that most fires break out due to careless handling of fire and failure to observe basic fire safety rules, both at home and while relaxing in the countryside.

Rescuers urge residents of the region not to burn dry vegetation, to keep a close eye on the use of open fire and to strictly follow safety rules in order to prevent new fires.

In the event of an emergency or fire, citizens are reminded to call 101 immediately.
