In Lviv Region police handled more than a thousand reports in 24 hours

On the 1559th day of the full-scale war, the situation regarding compliance with the law and public order in Lviv Region remains under control, the Lviv Region Police have reported.

Since the beginning of Russian aggression, law enforcement officers have been patrolling the streets of Lviv and other settlements in the region in reinforced mode, carrying out crime prevention, solving offences and providing citizens with the full range of police services.

Operators of the 102 service line receive calls around the clock. Over the past 24 hours, on 31 May, 1092 reports were received from citizens; all of them have been processed, with police officers responding to the callouts and assisting residents.

Law enforcement officers urge residents of Lviv Region to follow safety rules, not to ignore air raid alerts and to make sure they go to shelter during an air raid warning. In the event of enemy missile strikes, citizens are advised not to post photos or videos on social media so as not to assist the enemy.

The police also remind the public: if you notice suspicious people or vehicles, or discover a potentially explosive device, you should call the 102 emergency line. In the event of power cuts, residents are advised to have a charged power bank and a torch, and to check official sources for information on outage schedules.
