In Lviv region, over the past day, rescuers have dealt with 11 dry grass fires in ecosystems.
According to the emergency services, the main causes of the fires are violations of fire safety regulations during the burning of dry grass and plant residues, as well as careless handling of fire.
Rescuers stress that burning dry grass is dangerous: fire spreads quickly, especially in windy weather, and can spread to outbuildings, forest plantations or residential properties.
