A campaign for declaring weapons and ammunition is underway in the Lviv region.
Since the beginning of the campaign, 146 citizens have approached police units, declaring 153 units of firearms. Among them: 44 automatic weapons, 11 carbines-rifles, 4 combined weapons, 77 shotguns, 17 pistols and revolvers, as well as about 32,000 rounds of various calibers.
“Remember that voluntary weapon declaration exempts from criminal liability and allows for legal ownership,” the police emphasize.
Citizens are urged to join this security initiative and contribute to maintaining law and order. If you find firearms or ammunition, they must be immediately declared at the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region.
